New Group General Counsel/Corporate Secretary Appointed At RFHL

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, August 29, 2017: Republic Financial Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of Mrs. Kimberly Erriah-Ali, to the position of Corporate Secretary/Group General Counsel of Republic Bank Limited and Corporate Secretary/ Group General Counsel of Republic Financial Holdings Limited. Mrs. Erriah-Ali will replace Ms. Jacqueline Quamina, who retires from the Bank on September 1, 2017, after a distinguished career, spanning over 20 years.

Mrs. Erriah-Ali, an attorney-at-law, with 19 years of experience, joined Republic Bank Limited in 2002 as Manager, Legal Services. In 2014, Mrs. Erriah-Ali assumed the position of Senior Manager, Compliance, for two years, before returning to take up the position of Senior Manager, Legal Services.

During her tenure, she successfully progressed to the executive management team and served as a Director on a number of the Group’s boards. More recently, Mrs. Erriah-Ali served as Corporate Secretary on the Boards of Republic Bank (Grenada) Limited and Republic Bank (Suriname) N.V. and the Bank’s subsidiaries – Republic Finance and Merchant Bank Limited and London Street Projects Company Limited.

Mrs. Erriah-Ali holds an MBA from the Heriot-Watt University and is certified under the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS). She is also a certified Practitioner in Anti-Money Laundering from the Florida Institute of Bankers Association. She brings to her new role, a wealth of experience in Corporate and Commercial Law, Conveyancing, Trusts, Landlord and Tenant Law, Intellectual Property, Estate matters and Litigation.

Republic Financial Holdings Limited extends congratulations to Mrs. Erriah-Ali on her new appointment and wishes Ms. Quamina good health and success during her retirement.
