LEADERSHIP CHANGES: Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL) and Republic Bank Limited (RBL)

Port of Spain, Trinidad, October 15, 2026 – Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL) and Republic Bank Limited (RBL) wish to advise that Mr. Richard S. Sammy has exited the Group effective October 14th, 2026.
Speaking on behalf of the Group, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Yashmid Karamath, thanked Mr. Sammy for his contribution to the organisation:
“Richard is a man of unquestionable integrity. Throughout his 18-year career with Republic he has been guided by his deeply rooted values and the best interests of the Group. We wish him the very best as he moves forward to a bright future.”

The Group also wishes to confirm that, subject to regulatory approval, Mrs. Karen Yip Chuck has been appointed as Group President and Chief Executive Officer of Republic Financial Holdings Limited and President and Managing Director of Republic Bank Limited effective January 1, 2027.
