Retired Republic Group Director applauded for sterling service

Port of Spain, Trinidad, January 31, 2018:  Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL) today announced the retirement of Director, Mr. Russell Martineau S.C., from its Board on January 31, 2018.

Mr. Martineau, a former Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago and President of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago, has served as a member of the Republic Group Board of Directors since 1999. He has vast experience as a member of the Bar of England and Wales, Barbados, Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada, Dominica and Trinidad and Tobago.

Mr. Ian Benjamin resigned from the Board of Republic Bank Limited on January 31, 2018 to take up his appointment as Director on the Board of RFHL with effect from February 1, 2018. In announcing the retirement of Mr. Martineau, members of the Board saluted him for his yeoman service throughout the years.

The management and staff of the Republic Group wish to thank Mr. Martineau for his dedicated service and unwavering support during his tenure and congratulate Mr. Benjamin on his appointment to the RFHL Board.
